High flying

EXIF
Camera: Canon PowerShot S2 IS
Lens: 36 - 432 mm equivalent
Focal length: 29mm
Exposure: 1/250 sec
F-stop: f/5.6

Capturing this was indeed a challenge because they change their orientation very swiftly and by the time I get to click, they are already out of focus. I'm not sure whether this is an Eagle, Kite or anything else. Do post a comment if you can identify this one. This one was circling the skies above the Arabian sea during the wonderful boat ride from Elephanta Caves back to Gateway of India in Mumbai.

I thought of doing some branding for myself! Wow! nice timing and framing! did you try shooting with max focal length and f/8.0?

Thanks Sharath. I didn't try that with this one but tried it with another bird. This one came more as a surprise when I was trying to shoot something else, so, didn't find any time to change settings.

Amazing pic! Its very difficult to click the fast moving animals like squirrel or birds. Well captured :)

@Manasa - Thanks. Yes, they are very agile.
