Reasons apart, San Francisco is a lovely place, which I recently got to experience during my visit to Sunnyvale. The drive from Sunnyvale (yes, Yahoo!'s HQ is here) to San Francisco was a great experience. Driving in California is easy. All you need is a good car :-), some basic road rules and rest is all common sense. Traffic is disciplined which makes driving all the more a pleasure. You will have no one coming all of the sudden in the middle of a freeway to freak you out to the core when you are doing a 80mph. More short stories and experiences coming shortly...

I was in San Francisco too (near Christmas) and this cable car ride was fun especially when the car is going down the slope :)
I was there during Thanks giving. The cable car ride was really fun :)
