Isn't it weird to be speaking with full enthusiasm and 'josh' in front of a few electronic gadgets and lots of LEDs glowing and probably a computer? I really wonder how tough it would be, to be an RJ. Just think of it! Right throughout the show, the RJs (especially on Radio City) maintain the tempo and speak as if they were in front of a 10000 member audience. Hats off! I remember those days when Jonzie (RJ on Radio City) used to crack jokes all by himself (sometimes on himself) and laugh away to glory... Imagine it! You don't even know if listeners thought it was a joke or if they cursed the RJ for cracking a PJ. You don't know if listeners shut off the radio because of a stupid statement made, which was intended to be humorous.
RJs on radio stations make a big difference, not just for their apparent chatter-box nature, but for the 'life' that they bring into the station. Radio Stations such as AIR's FM channel are still picking up and I am yet to see professional RJs there, but compared to the shows they used to have sometime back, now, they have improved to a great extent. They play great tunes too.
Here is the analogy - don't you think blogging is also something similar? What drives authors of these blogs, or for that matter any blogger, to post 'something'? As a blogger, I don't know whether someone reads my blog word-by-word or just sees the title "HandledException" and thinks "what nonsense?" and moves on with the next link. I don't know if someone reading this post feels like beating me up, because he/she expected this post to be something else. All I get to see the small little counter that ticks when someone lands here and the curiosity lies in knowing, from which different countries people have bumped-in. Unless someone writes any feedback/comment, I don't know if my posts are been appreciated or criticized.
I just read Rohan's post which says - "The graphics blow me down!. Vibrant colors.." (referring to this blog). I'm really happy to know that. Thanks! :)
In a bit of excitement, I thought, I'll change the colour scheme o'er here. Though, blue is my favourite colour, I thought green is more lively. Critical feedback solicited. :)
Thanks to this neat site which provides the HTML colour codes for quite a few colours, which you can use in case you don't have ready access to Dreamweaver or any other HTML editor to help you out with colour selection.

This is awesome man!
Thanks Sharath! :)
ouch! light green for the links hurts.a deeper shade of green would be better! The high-res sunflower's neat. mua 0.002$
Really, I suppose that it must be a tough job to be an RJ. My Days would've been much more boring if not for Radio Mirchi....
And, so is the same for a blog... And, green is quite nice too.....
And, the only thing that's constant is change, so keep experimenting....
My Blog too needs a lot of rearrangement and redesign, so thanks for providing the impetus for that.....
@Abhinav - Hey, thanks for that feedback. I'll make that change right-away.
@Yuvi - Good luck with the re-design!
@Abhinav - Just check out the green, it is not possible to get a darker shade of green becuase, that would become too close to the almost black normal text and one wouldnt be able to differentiate between normal text and links.
Redesign almost complete...
Only Logo has to be completed...
Thanks for the Cue, Sunil;)
